As Dr. William W. Li states, "Foods are the chemotherapy that we take in three times per day."
We have an average of 60,000 miles of blood vessels in our body if we stretched them out end to end. We have 60-100 trillion cells in our body replicating at all times. All it takes to form cancer is for a few cells to make a couple of mistakes in replicating to create small cancer cells. So, we all have some form of cancer cells in our bodies which can remain dormant and never amount to anything. A microscopic cancer is approximately 0.5 mm in size (that's only the size of the end of a ball point pen!) and can not continue to replicate without a blood supply. Anti-angiogenesis therapies are now the 4th line of treatment for cancers. The research on this is amazing - preventing and treating cancer by starving the blood supply through nutrition (in addition to drug therapies). And potentially also with treating obesity.
